The Timber Frame Home: Available for Winter Lease,
and Other Select times

The Timber Frame Home is a tall posted cape traditionally constructed with mortise and tendon joinery. Yesterday’s post & beam craftsmanship is blended with today’s technology to provide large open living spaces and soaring cathedral ceilings amid posts, beams, sky rafters, purlins, queen posts, curved braces, scarf joints, and lots of windows. A feast for the eyes and comfort to the soul. Your shelter from the storm.  Amenities include an outside Bent Stave Cedar Barrel Sauna, custom hot tub, 1 ” slate pool table &  great home theater system.

The Timber Frame Home is located just south of Stowe in the Town of Waterbury high atop Blush Hill. We are centrally located to the best skiing & boarding in Vermont. Stowe, the ski capital of the east, is only a short drive away along with Sugarbush, Mad River Glenn, and Bolton Valley. A great location for a memorable winter season lease. Waterbury is known as the “Recreational Crossroads of Vermont.” For hiking, Camel’s Hump, Mt. Mansfield & the Long Trail are close by, the Blush Hill Golf Course is right around the corner, Ben & Jerry’s is at the bottom of our hill,  Green Mountain Coffee Roasters is downtown,  Lake Champlain & Burlington are not far away, and beautiful Waterbury Reservoir is at the bottom of the Hill. The “Reservoir” is unique in offering Quiet Use & Motorboat areas for great fishing, canoeing, kayaking, and water skiing all surrounded by the scenic Mt. Mansfield State Forest.  Waterbury is also considered the center of the Vermont craft brewing movement with local craft pubs and breweries nearby. Check out ACTIVITIES PAGE for great area links.
